The East of Scotland and the Jacobite uprising of 1745

Next month’s Friends of Dundee City Archives talk will be given by Iain McIntosh. Find out what role Dundee and the East of Scotland played in the Jacobite rising of 1745. Did the people support Bonnie Prince Charlie or did they stick with the Hanoverians?

The talk will take place on Thursday¬†7th November¬†at 1pm, in the Glasite Hall on King Street. It’s free entry to all FDCA Lunchtime Talks and everyone is welcome – you don’t need to be a member of the friends. See the FDCA website for more information.
