A History of the Dundee Law

In a change to the advertised topic, next month’s Friends of Dundee City Archives talk will be a potted history of the Dundee Law. In particular the often forgotten railway tunnel that went through the hill. City Archivist Martin Allan will take you through the history of the Dundee and Newtyle railway and the decision to go under rather than around the Law.

The talk will take place on Thursday¬†6th June¬†at 1pm, in the Glasite Hall on King Street. It’s free entry to all FDCA Lunchtime Talks and everyone is welcome – you don’t need to be a member of the friends. You can book your ticket now on eventbrite. See the FDCA website for more information including titles of upcoming talks.
