‘Tell me why I am here’: Listening to women’s lost words

In this lunchtime talk, Morag Allan Campbell, a PhD student at the University of St Andrews, will explore how case notes and records from Dundee Lunatic Asylum can help us to hear the voices of nineteenth century women. This talk is based on Morag’s research into the records of the Dundee Lunatic Asylum held at the University of Dundee Archives.

This talk is part of the Dundee Women’s Festival.

The talk will take place on Thursday 7th March 2019 at 1pm, in the Glasite Hall on King Street. It’s free entry to all FDCA Lunchtime Talks and everyone is welcome – you don’t need to be a member of the friends. See the FDCA website for more information.
