Next month’s Friends of Dundee City Archives talk will be given by Simon Goulding of the Howff Conservation Group. The Group have been working to help preserve and find out more about the oldest existing graveyard in Dundee. This work has included archaeological digs and creating a new in depth index of the people who were buried there. Simon will talk about this work and the other exciting things that the group are planning for the future.
The talk will take place on Thursday 4th October at 1pm, in the Glasite Hall on King Street. It’s free entry to all FDCA Lunchtime Talks and everyone is welcome – you don’t need to be a member of the friends. See the FDCA website for more information.
